Chichester FIRE & Rescue

The Chichester Fire Department is a paid-on-call organization that serves the town of Chichester, New Hampshire by providing structural and wildland firefighting services, emergency medical services, hazardous material response and general community support.

The volunteers which serve the Chichester fire department are comprised of your neighbors, friends and relatives. They’re people just like you – with families, jobs and active lifestyles who find time to give back to their community.

Burn permits are required for any outside burning, even while raining, for the following: Seasonal Cooking, Campfire, Brush, Chimenea or Outside Fireplace.

Established in 1936, the Chichester Fire Department is a combination fire & EMS department that is a provider of emergency services for the residents and businesses within Chichester, NH.

Red Cross Smoke Alarm Program

The American Red Cross has just resumed their in-person "free" HFC smoke alarm program. The installers will be held to very strict guidelines and only vaccinated responders will be allowed into client homes.

Attached is the Red Cross Home Fire Campaign and registration information where anyone can request a free install. We’ll then contact the client to setup an appointment for a ‘free’ Smoke Alarm installation and Homes Made Safer check, using the link provided:
